Prepared?

8:30pm and in the garage putting a washing on.

The weeWeir had picked up some cough-creating bugs, so a wee load of washing left to dry in her room may help ease the dry bark. That and a little faith-fuelled prayer.

There was a load needing done anyway, so it's handy too.

Today has been fun.

We has a leisurely start, out to walk the dogs and then through to catch up with old friends at the King's in Motherwell.

An relaxed, impromptu lunch ensued at a nice Italian place in Coatbridge and home in time to get the weeWeir to try pedalling on this wee bike I've bought from a friend (whose daughter had out grown it).

She's still figuring out balance, but a few meters of being supported is a good place to start.

I'm about to continue making some tweaks to this bike, much as I have been to SpareBike as I get it ready for tomorrow's commute. It's good to breathe life into old things.
