After the storm

A walk round the garden this morning to inspect any damage there may have been after Francis did his worst.  There were a lot of tree branches, watering cans, buckets, and the dustbins strewn around but no structural damage anywhere that we could see.  The flowers and fruit are standing upright again, well all but a few, and the Butterflies and Bees were out in force.  I saw this lovely Hawk Moth, think it's a Poplar Hawk-Moth, but other ID would be welcome.

Another photo of the Hawk Moth and a Tortie in Extra.

I'm well prepared and looking forward to our friends coming for Dinner this evening.  Table's laid, bed made up and most of the food prep done.  Now I'm off to clean out the duck pen, then feet up and finish my book, perhaps.
