Viking race

There is a skating competion called Vikingarännet (this is a little bit difficult to translate to the English language, but something like "viking race" could it be). 3000 people have skated the distance between Uppsala and Stockholm today, 80 km (50 miles) on the lake ices. Some of the participants are very "professional", but most of the skaters are just like you and me. The skaters here started rather early and are probably elite atheles of some kind.
A Dutchman won the competition this time, so also last year.
