Confused

This weeping willow is in a large pot on the terrace and recently lost some leaves. Now it thinks it’s Spring and is putting forth new leaves and furry catkins. Even the Hover Fly seems confused at its appearance. Managed to cut the ivy hedge back this morning and did quite a few garden chores. It’s now pouring down and really dark
