Barbara Hepworth in yew?

There was a little bit of her in me this afternoon as I clipped this lovely yew and euonymus. It's the second year I've done it and the divide between them has improved, it's had a little haircut in between the main pruning.

The last job of the day, cutting a lawn, was cancelled due to heavy rain but on the way home what I thought was heavy paled into insignificance compared to the deluge that happened. The roads were suddenly turned to rivers and lakes and it was so deep under one bridge all the cars were turning around. Still, we can all rest easy, global warming is just 'fake news.'
