Storage

This is a 'tank farm' on the waterfront in Auckland harbour - no longer used for commodity storage, though further along the shore it's stll very much a working harbour.

This evening I met my friend L who emigrated here from Oxford 19 years ago. Since then we have done small children, employment, training, teenagers, freelance work, young adults. We have lost contact and found each other again. We have changed shape and gone grey and realised we forgot to do anything about pensions. And sitting in a tapas bar in downtown Auckland we picked up where we left off that last summer evening we spent blackberrying.
