A Wet Start.....

...to the day for this interesting flower, which grows on the edge of a private car park (the public can use - pay and display).

Interestingly in the last couple of weeks they planted out the edges of the car park with new flowers and compost, and three big planters nearly two metres square each - placed at the rear end of a shop overlooking the car park.

Its great to see, and pleasantly surprising - as even though they had tarmacked it roughly a year ago, they had been planning on building on it before then! :-)
