Poolside

This morning Danny was meant to take a homeless guy to the airport. His family had paid for him to return to Germany, unfortunately he didn't show up. Pretty gutting. He was so pro going yesterday...who knows what changed?? His family confirmed he didn't arrive - we were hoping that maybe he'd got to the airport by bus or something. 
Anyway, after that we headed off on our weekend away! It didn't take the kids long to be in the pool! Later in the day we walked around the coast to the next beach along - Nate was sure we were on an adventure, which we were!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Claire! Today is her actual birthday. Danny delivered sunflowers and some bits and bobs.
2) Letesia's generosity in loaning us her flat. We'd have not been able to have time away if it weren't for her.
3) The sound of the sea and of cicadas...summer evenings.
