Pitter patter more like smash and batter

Very heavy rain and it left me sad because since the gutter fell down all this rain goes straight into the ground and away. I expect the sun will be out in strength and burn the plants.
A lot of plants are very damaged by the high winds shrivelled my butternut squash one of my cucumbers has dehydrated no leaves one misshapen cue trying to grow but it gave up its life to protect the other one. That seems unharmed. Nature eh!
