Is that the time already?

I could have sworn that I'd only been in the pub or about an hour and a half. It's funny how time flies. I must check this clock more often.
    On returning to Assynt Mansions, I noticed that one of my neighbours was having some friends and family round. As I understand it, this is he first anniversary of the loss of his son. He aso lost his daughter some 30 years ago. He has been doing lots of carpentry round his porch, which looks great, all as I understand it, in comemoration of his losses.  I thought he might go on a bender, but it seems not. I admire him greatly.
