Swim, Silage & Rape

Lovely evening walk & swim. Many of the grass fields around being mown, the fields next to our house were done yesterday.

Did a bee inspection, the queen is well & doing a great job. However, with the fields now empty will have to look elsewhere. This rape field is theoretically within flying distance and indeed there were lots of bees on the blooms. Just hope it hasn' been sprayed recently.
