As the Crow Flies

I was trying to get a good picture of my little Rufous defending her territory (extra) when this crow flew overhead. Swinging the camera around and getting a shot through the Russian sage proved to be an interesting blip (to me, anyway).

The day started off cloudy and a few sprinkles. A relief from the sun and heat of the past weeks. It is clearing off now. The humidity should be shooting up so I think a bit of pool time is in order.

I am grateful for all my flying friends that keep me entertained. Life is good.
