Nuthatch

Not a rare bird in most of its British range but I remember when this was extremely rare in Scotland. In the whole Strathclyde area there was only a small population in Dalzell Woods by Baron's Haugh near Motherwell. Now they are reported from many city and town parks in and around Glasgow. They are also being seen in points much further north.  This one was at RSPB Lochwinnoch.
