Cannington Viaduct

As we knew that Lyme Regis would be very busy we had planned to go on a walk around the area.

We were walking from a book and on occasions we weren’t quite sure where we were going.

We stopped for lunch by the Cannington viaduct. It used to carry the Axminster and Lyme Regis Light Railway until 1965.

The walk took us back to Uplyme and we had a glass of Black Dog cider at the Talbot Arms, the dinner location for the previous evening.

We walked back into town passing the old water mill in the extra.

In the evening we’ve had a pizza from our favourite pizza restaurant, Poco Pizza. We efficiently placed our order earlier in the day and collected it at the chosen times waiting outside.

While we waited I took the photo in the extra.

After eating the very yummy pizza we went for a walk up the local hill aiming to see the sunset. We had a lovely walk but couldn’t get to a location to see the sun going down. Maybe we’ll be more successful tomorrow.
