Cannington Viaduct.

Didn't have to get up this morning but I did have an opportunity to read for a while, what bliss.

We were going to do a walk around the hills to the north of Lyme Regis which started from a carpark just outside the town centre, it was completely full and felt good that we were going 'far from the madding crowd'

After a bit of a confused start we began heading for chimney rock which had great view of the shining sea.

The above viaduct is a left over from the Axminster/ Lyme Regis light railway, the spot we ate lunch.

It continues towards Up Lyme where we visited the Talbot Arms for a glug of cider before returning to Lyme Regis.

A lovely walk on a day when the weather was perfect for walking.

Dinner was pizza from Poco's, the best pizza we've ever eaten then a quick climb up the hill from our accommodation to see the sunset which we slightly missed but it helped the pizza go down!!
