NEW KID ON THE BLOCK

Everything was brighter and calmer today and there was a young female (I think) kestrel trying out various perches in the old cemetery. Apparently they worked well both for spotting prey, and also as dining surfaces (extra).

Apart from when I was out walking I've felt absolutely worn out today. The next month is going to be pretty busy, especially as it includes two weeks of looking after Mum, so I'm going to have to summon up some energy from somewhere.
