Faster than fairies, faster than witches

I decided to get a proper walk in, so with a sandwich and a drink I headed up the Water of Leith to Balerno. This is the newly finished tunnel at colinton.

It has the poem by Robert L Stevenson painted on the wall. 

The weather was good, and most people were sensible, there were only a couple of race track cyclists, and one out of control dog (a collie). I don't count the puppy because the owner was seriously trying to do their best to get the dog to behave, but it was a puppy who just ADORES people.
