A blur between work & pleasure?

Why did the culture of work invade our coffee time?
Was it because of a lack of space at the office?
Or a wish for privacy away from interfering colleagues?
Perhaps an extension of working from home?
It's warm here and the coffee is probably better.
But what about tea drinkers - are they all back at the office?
