Black Cat, Brown Dog

Dear Diary,

I spent the afternoon visiting my cousins on Black Cat Island in New Hampshire on a VERY windy day.  In fact, when I got home I saw we had lost power for a couple of hours.  It was nice to see everyone and little Lulu came for a visit too. (Not THAT Lulu!)  Lulu belongs to a summer neighbor on the island.  She is an eleven year old miniature Dachshund and is quite adorable.  She just had to be my post today.  

Only 42F this morning but the winds have calmed down and it looks like it will be another beautiful day.
