Damsel

While out with the Roscrea Ramblers, our walk took us down beside the River Nore outside the town of Durrow.  This male Banded Demoiselle (I believe) landed and stayed some time on a dock leaf overhanging the river.

PS.  My previous photo was in the rather dark forestry and I forgot to alter the ISO in the moment of seeing the damselfly - senior moment!
