Crossed wires

Went to pick Matt up from work, but there was much confusion about when he’d be leaving.

Ended up killing some time in nearby Ormiston. Apparently this cross dates from the fifteenth century, and a sign on it says that at one time “malefactors” would have been chained to it for public humiliation.

Happily none of that kind of thing happening today.
