Ancient Oak Tree...

Here's another subject I've passed many times and often thought there might be a photograph there... This tree must be 250-300 years old at the least and is growing at the junction of Blacksmiths Lane and the road from Mill Green to Nosterfield End.

Years ago trees like this marked the boundaries between parishes and it is nice to think that this is a 'Boundary Tree'. (More likely that's me being fanciful.)

It being August Bank Holiday with nothing much going on I decided to take my time with the MPP Micro Technical 5 x 4in camera... Always a good conversation piece, several people stopped and had a chat, asking about the camera.
