Newbyth - Woodland Trust

On there advice of a neighbour I went to Newbyth this  morning to explore piece of woodland that has been taken over by the Woodland Trust. It is the opposite side of the road from Binning Wood where groves of large beech trees predominate and it could not more different. It is a mixed woodland with a range of trees from Scots Pine to Silver Birch and has a more gentle and tranquil feel to it I have always admired the lodge cottage that stands across the road from the Binning Wood car park and I have included this as my extra.
