Art in the making

A friend invited two of us over to her backyard and served us a wonderful lunch, then the two of them started work on their mosaic art pieces.  One was making a serving tray and the other a large four paned window with a different scene in each pane.  They offered for me to create something, but I do not need to take up another thing.....  It was a great afternoon to catch up with them and watch their process.
