Food & Beer Garden

There wasn't much food or beer and the music was far too loud. Why do DJs think that the volume of the music determine how good they are? Why would anyone think that loud music is appropriate for an afternoon event with mostly older people and where people want to catch up with friends not seen for a while? The same music, played less loud, would have been enjoyable, but having to shout to make oneself heard made conversations an effort.

Weather was cold & windy, but mostly dry.
