Watery Wonders

Elbows had been waiting on the weather and the tides to get us all on the river near Cosheston, at the bottom of the hill on which we’re staying.

We spent so long last night, planning and changing our minds and changing our planning that I think most of us thought it wasn’t going to happen.

But it did and it was fab. There’s a cafe on the opposite bank so we all crossed over for a coffee in the sun. SkyeMan, HatBox and MightyMouse kayaked over. LongLegs, Elbows and I swam merrily in wetsuits. DougsJB and NoaNoa swam noisily and not quite so merrily but with with lots of humour, without wetsuits. Brrrrrrr.

After warming up and eating a lazy lunch, some of us went on to Broadhaven to meet up with our friends on the beach again. Another beautiful spot. :-)

Dot.T has been staying/camping with our friends, including her WelshLad obviously, since Friday, so it’s great to see her too.

SkyeMan and HatBox left to go home today. This was SkyeMans first family holiday with us. He coped very well ;-) and it was really really good having them here.
