Planting Mango

I'm told that we now produce nine varieties of mango at our farm in Lusangazi.
We grow mango from local seeds and then bud the new varieties on. I see the guys doing it and it looks skillful and tedious (and dangerous) as the budding knives are razor sharp.
We should have better fruit in about two years.
Local mango all ripen at the same time and often rot on the trees. The new varieties will spread the ripening period over a few months!!
