Eastbourne Pier

Impressive, but not yet reopened. Many of the shops/stalls usually on the pier are open on the esplanade just now. I was there with my daughter, her partner and Wesley, of course. It wouldn't have been my choice for a destination on a Bank Holiday, but it was OK. We got possibly the last parking space, a nice man gave us his unused ticket, and we found a lovely place for lunch - last unbooked table!  My daughter and I just had to have the all-day "Hipster Breakfast"- sweetcorn pancakes, sourdough toast, mashed avocado, grilled halloumi and a poached egg, plus bacon if you wanted the larger version. Last day of the eat out discount too.
