Tailburn Bridge

A sunny morning, but soon clouded over, but remained a warm day.  Fairly calm most of the day, with some wind around teatime.

Another early start, and headed out after breakfast.  First stop today, Peebles.  A beautiful peerie town, with loads going on, shame Shetland didn't have similar!  Headed to Neidpath Castle next, unfortunately closed.  On to Moffat, and had lunch in the Guinness Record narrowest hotel, the Star.  Another stunning village.  Headed through the mountains, before heading home.  A pint in the local this evening, and now a quiet night with the telly.

I never knew about so many stunning places throughout Scotland, and always new places to explore.  As we came through the mountain pass, from Moffat to Selkirk, it had a feel like Glencoe at times.  I never knew the south had such high hills, and discovered many walks for another trip.  This was one of the stunning scenes, with a must do walk behind.  Taken at Tailburn Bridge, Moffatdale.
