Chook in camouflage

The local garden centre has some poultry, of which this is the boldest as i have found him patrolling the car park more than once. Today i saw him a few yards away as i turned in to park, and then he disappeared as i got out and walked round to the boot. The next i knew of him, he was sitting on the toe of my shoe, scratching at the laces.

He should be careful, though, being so cleverly camouflaged for this car park life.

Cochin? I meant to ask and this is the closest i can see on an online guide.
