Loch Katrine

The Sir Walter Scott sits rather forlornly on Loch Katrine while the passengers, including L and me, boarded the Lady of the Lake for our sail up the loch ...... it was very wet and with low lying cloud the visibility was poor.

The sail, with afternoon tea in the Pier Cafe, was a Christmas present from our younger niece. We had booked the sail for April but of course everything was cancelled and it's only since the beginning of September that vouchers were being accepted again .... so today was the day.

We've done the sail once before for a friend's special birthday and the weather was just as dull and wet. Perhaps we should hope for a third time lucky!
