We had a wonderful two days with our daughter in Edinburgh: a little sightseeing, walking, gardening, DIY, carry-out Thai and Middle Eastern dinners and a lot of catching up.  A fine remedy for those Lockdown Blues.

Tonight's home cooked dinner surpassed all others however: Tofu coated with sesame seeds in a light sweet and sour sauce served on a bed of rice topped with broccoli and kale.  Jacqui's crowning glory.  Stunningly good.  

Being away released the local lockdown pressures and lifted our spirits.  Sadly, we will have to wait until Glasgow's numbers fall before we will be able to repeat the treat with our son - he lives in recently re-locked down Glasgow.  Ah well, we will bide our time and savour the good times to come.
