Soggy!

Kids plans to ride thwarted by the afternoon rain so they had to make do with cuddles instead. We were late down anyway as we all had haircuts after school.

I managed to ride Buddy in the school today. Working on getting him to go into the corners without losing his inside bend, which normally involves going round and round in circles till he gets it. Got some nice bouncy canter transitions too. Then Kim showed up and we were chatting by the gate and lost any motivation to keep working. I know schooling is really important and we will feel the benefit if we keep it up but it's such bloody hard work. Got a lesson on Saturday and she always asks me what we've been working on! (Erm, mostly just ploddy hacks with long reins!!).
