in the community garden - of all things - when what i went - to get was a flower - but as i was going - to snap snap i heard - a fluttering sound which - startled me so i - hesitated instead and decided - to investigate like any - intrepid photographer would do

imagine my surprise when i - noticed right in the next - little garden plot - a bird feasting on flowers - well of course i stalked - immediately - and as silently as possible - ahhh but he was in - an awkward spot - which didn’t deter me - it simply made it more challenging - but finally he caught on - that a human had invaded - his space however by then - i’d managed to get several - shots i thought might work - this one is straight out of the camera - and though i’m not sure - what he is - perhaps some kind - of gold finch (?) - i wanted his natural beauty - to shine forth because in - my mind that’s what makes it...
