Eyes and Pies

This is a bit like what was going on in my left eye this afternoon. I went for a routine check up at the Ophthalmologist and she found some thinning of the retina ( I have had previous surgery for retinal detachments). She secured it by zapping it with the laser, a mildly unpleasant experience involving a lot of very bright, mostly green light. This is the closest I could get to the green colour using filters in PicsArt.
On a lighter note, I spent the morning with a friend and her young baby. I took lunch with me - homemade Aussie meats pies at her request - and some more to freeze for her and her partner.
