It has snowed on and off in Paris for much of today and, combined with the gusting wind, it has felt bitterly cold.

Still, la famille D are made of stern stuff and, undeterred, we covered a good sized area of Paris on our wanders.

Later this afternoon we took respite in The Pompidou Centre where this piece grabbed my attention over all the other masterworks. Consisting of a slowly rotating turntable, on which an assortment of toys and other household objects were placed, along with a spotlight, I became utterly fascinated by the shadows that were cast onto the wall behind.
