Better Days

Another pleasant day, ideal for drying the washing. After a few jobs this morning, I had a pleasant stroll this afternoon with a break in one of my favourite spots where I watched the Swallows gathering to feed, and to drink from puddles.
I saw this Red Admiral resting on the patio set in the garden, and it obligingly waited whilst I went indoors to fetch my camera. It had seen better days, but was still beautiful.
