Coates Crescent

We picked the Damsons today and got about 80% of a 14 litre bucket of fruit; in previous years we’ve been lucky to even get double figures in fruit. This year conditions must have been better as there was less Aphid damage. As a result I went out late for a blip walk and got this shot of Coates Crescent with Gladstone’s statue showing up well against the dark sky. At 18:00 it hosed down much like yesterday, bringing to mind the great Yogi Beera’s words ‘It’s like déjà vu all over again’. He was a great baseball player for the Yankees, so he wasn’t all good, and another of his quotes was ‘I never said most of the things I said.’
