Katie's Birthday was yesterday but what with one thing and another we didn't get round to the cake and Birthday Tea until today. And what did she request this year by way of a present? Well, apparently you can get these things kind of like a disposable camera only you don't throw it away when you're done because you can take the film out to get it developed and put a new one in...!? When we'd stopped laughing we told her that of course we knew of such a thing - in our day we just called it a camera. And there's a pile of old ones upstairs too so that worked out well in terms of a cheap pressie. I polished one up and acquired new batteries and film and sent her off on a new adventure into analogue. I also finally got round to buying some instax film for the camera that Tom had as a nipper off his grandad and the photo above is the first fruits of that particular diversion. We watched a youtube video in Spanish and then went into the garden to see what we could come up with...
