It had rained overnight and the gardens are very damp this morning, the pictured cockspur hawthorn berries are looking vibrant.

Finished pruning the grand old lady wisteria today, such a fun, challenging and exciting job as I gradually thin out old excesses and start to create a newer framework of flowering spurs to replace slightly spindly growth.

RF, J&M and I am had fish and chips after a lengthy queue at the chippy, it was lovely.
