Wiewpoint Snøhetta

We left the camping this morning an drove northbound towards Hjerkinn to visit Wiewpoint Snøhetta. Really, really worth a visit. 1,5 km walk from the parking lot, this revelation showed up. Just stunning, both the wiew and the building.
For almost 40 years ago I went skiing to the top of Snøhetta with some friends and several sleddogs. It was the 24. of May, full moon and great skiing conditions.
From Hjerkinn we drove through the valley Grimsdalen and to Folldal, where we will spend the night.
Is an architectural viewing pavilion overlooking Tverrfjellet mountain at Hjerkinn. The building was designed by Snøhetta architects and opened in 2011. It was commissioned by the Norwegian Wild Reindeer Centre North.
