Richmond Park stag

Time in Richmond Park today. The stags were active - not rutting yet, but getting ready for it, lots of low energy sparring. But they were also interested in fallen acorns, which is what this chap was after.

We approached the Park from Liverpool Road, where I noticed for the first time the blue plaque for Eadweard Muybridge (see extra). I can't understand why he didn't attempt more photographs of stags, given how close to the Park he lived.
