Japanese Anemone

It was not until a holiday job in Devon that I first saw these as my father did not grow them - he grew pretty much everything else - and, although I have always liked them, I have never grown them.
This one is in the garden of a friend who plays the piano for our Zoom church services, where we went this morning to lead the hymns.
