Hiding

This flower was hiding under the leaves so was still flowering late in the afternoon.

HtP has worked hard in the garden today clearing an area where trees had self seeded and been allowed to grow.

While he worked I weeded and pruned a Berberis. They are very spiky so had to be pruned carefully. It had lost most of its leaves and I found the culprit. It was a tiny little caterpillar. He must have been very hungry.
