Choices! We Had Choices!

Today we were back in two separate music services and I was going to have to choose because even I haven't figured out how to be in two places at once to take pictures!  But, since our timing wasn't quite in sync, we finished our traditional music service in time for me to get over to the contemporary music service before it ended, which was a blessing for me!  In the traditional service, we were blessed by Deani's prelude, the worship team that led us in some hymns we haven't sung in awhile and a beautiful special from Julie Chambers.  After Second Mile finished leading the contemporary praise, David Smith, Director of Missions for our association, preached part two of the sermon he began last week about Biblical Strategies For Difficult Times.  He  encouraged us to just take the next logical step by faith when we are unsure about what to do, to envision God's enveloping presence, to trust God to deliver us in His own unique way, to view our current crisis as a faith builder for the future,to not forget to praise Him and to be thankful!  It was an uplifting and enlightening day at FBC for all of us!
