It felt utterly bizarre today with the big two at school. Isaac and I spent much of the morning lolloping around and eyeing one another with suspicion having forgotten the art of Mondays. Eventually he dragged me out and we checked Grandad was behaving himself and then found friends in the park and had a long old play.

It was such a relief when Zeke marched out happily at the end of the day. He’d gone in looking like it could go either way.

Gratefuls:

1. Tuna wraps for lunch with the littlest member of the tribe, he’s a relaxed companion on the whole;
2. A run - first time in forever thanks to a troublesome Achilles. It felt good, albeit even slower than usual;
3. The bendy tree.
