Smoky Sunset Through the Glass Darkly

The change in the usual westerly wind pattern to an easterly flow is bringing the smoke from the central Oregon wildfires into the Willamette Valley this evening..
The sunset was very colorful, but best viewed through a closed window so as to keep the smoky air out of the house as much as possible.
