Daphne odora

Oh wow, I thought as I went into the garden, the daphne odora is beginning to flower already; spring must be on its way!! And then I realised that it's supposed to flower in February, so nothing strange there.
The plant was given to me on my 50th birthday by a friend who tends to give poeple daphne odoras on their 50th birthdays. I think it's a lovely gift, and it's survived a move, and every year produces the most gorgeous scent in Feb and March.
