Clues to my day

This morning, N and I enjoyed some special time with family, including seven delightful dogs. Later, I spent an interesting hour preparing and assembling a new recipe for our evening meal - butternut squash, sausage and broccoli pasta bake. I enjoy trying out new recipes and this was a good one, although it did use a few too many pans for my liking.
So, while trying to think of a Blip for today, with so much water falling from the sky it was nigh impossible to venture out with a camera, I resorted to a shelf in the bookcase which illustrates perfectly some of the things I enjoyed most about today.
