Burbage Edge

Its been a very long day today as I met Paul at 8am in the Goyt Valley so we could complete the Joe Brown geocache challenge that we started last week. The walk was shorter this time, probably 9 to 10 miles, but the weather wasn't particularly pleasant with drizzle and low cloud  although it improved slightly in the afternoon.

The photo was taken at the trig point on Burbage Edge where the cloud lifted and sun shone for a few moments.

After completing the walk I then made the short drive to Glossop to watch  another one of Chester's pre-season friendlies which worked out well. I will be back over here again on Saturday for another friendly at Buxton.
